RON JUTEAU, B.A., AACI

Mr. Juteau is a graduate of McGill University (1969) and Loyalist College, Belleville, from which he graduated with an honours diploma in Real Estate Appraisal in 1976. Commencing in 1976, he was employed by a major appraisal firm in Ottawa until October, 1979, when he formed the firm of Ron Juteau & Associates Ltd., now known as Juteau Johnson Comba Inc. He received his AACI designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 1982.

Mr. Juteau has appraised a wide variety of commercial and multi-residential properties for major institutional lenders and developers. He now specializes in appraisals and consulting assignments related to expropriation, lease arbitrations, litigation, feasibility analysis and land lease valuations. He has appeared as an expert witness before the Ontario Municipal Board, the Ontario Court of Justice - General Division, the Supreme Court of Ontario and the Federal Court of Canada.

He has also acted as an arbitrator in lease disputes. As well, he has been a lecturer and panelist for the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Real Estate Association, the Appraisal Institute of Canada, and the International Right of Way Association. Mr. Juteau is also a principal active in the development and leasing of commercial and residential properties.
