ROLF L. HALVORSEN, AACI, P.APP

Rolf has over eighteen years of professional real estate appraisal and consulting experience. Rolf holds the AACI - Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute and the P.App - Professional Appraiser designations. He also earned a Certificate in Real Estate granted by the University of Alberta_s Faculty of Extension.

Rolf is an approved lecturer of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, has presented numerous seminars on ethics and professional standards, was a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada’s National Investigating Committee from 1993 to 1997, and currently serves on the National Adjudicating Committee. He has appeared before the Court of Queen’s Bench as an expert witness in real estate related matters.

Rolf's initial real estate experience was with the City of Edmonton, where he was a Land Agent from 1981 to 1983. In April 1983, Rolf became a fee appraiser in association with Brian Frost and was a founding partner of Frost & Associates.

Since 1983, Rolf has completed valuations, feasibility and market studies, lease arbitrations, etc. on a wide variety of commercial, industrial and multi-family residential projects. The majority of present assignments comprise income producing real estate investments such as office buildings, shopping centres, and apartments. Rolf also conducts appraisals / consulting assignments on specialized properties such as hotels, golf courses and residential subdivisions.
