| GERRY McCOOMBS, CRA
Gerry has been a full time real estate appraiser since 1983. He manages our Residential Appraisal Section and specializes in single family residential properties within the Greater Fredericton and Central New Brunswick areas. He has also been involved in non-residential appraisals for varied purposes related to properties throughout the province.
Gerry graduated from Fredericton High School in 1968 and has since taken numerous courses and seminars as part of his appraisal studies and continuing education. He was awarded the CRA (Canadian Residential Appraiser) designation in 1991.
He has served his profession by sitting on and chairing numerous local and national committees and being elected Chairman of the Western New Brunswick Chapter of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and President of the New Brunswick Association of Real Estate Appraisers. He is the current Director for New Brunswick (Member of National Governing Council) of the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
Gerry's experience includes numerous appraisals for litigation purposes such as expropriation, insurance and injurious affection and he has testified as an expert in real estate appraisal before various judicial and quasi-judicial bodies. |
